I began the accordion in Saône-et-Loire, in Chatenoy-le Royal, with Gilbert Drigon. I had there the opportunity to practise in an orchestra. Gilbert Drigon organised also summer training courses with Eric Bijon (accordionist of solo Mano, Alain Bashung, Mireille Mathieu...). At the same time, I began my studies of music theory to the school of Tournus, then to the Music Conservatory of Chalon-sur-Saône.

Later, I studied accordion with Celino Bratti in Lyon, always with the aim of maintaining a good amateur level of practice. I tried also to play accordion with others musicians, and fast discovered the poverty of the repertoire of chamber music for accordion. I thus began studies of music writing.
I studied to the Music Conservatory of Lyon Fourvière with of Denis Magnon (DEM of harmony), Georges Aloy (DEM of counterpoint), Daniel Gaudet, Gilles Schuehmacher and Jean-Philippe Guye (DEM of analysis). Since 2011, I study the composition with Philippe Barraud.
